Server Specification, Configuration and Backups

You'll notice that our servers are very powerful and even our veni (the lowest dedicated server plan) can cater for large and bandwidth hungry web sites. All plans come with local storage with minimum latency that is ideal for your databases and remote SAN storage perfect for backups.

Upon signing up for a dedicated server, you have the option to choose the Operating System and any additional software that you would like installed. The Krystal team will subsequently build the server to your specification and configure the server to run optimally.

You can dictate a backup schedule at any frequency (once a week, once a day etc.) and we will set this up for you. In the event of a problem with the server, we can restore old backups anytime day or night in accordance with our SLA (please ask for our dedicated server pack for a copy of the Service Level Agreement).

Security

Your servers will be hosted in an ultra-secure ex MOD military grade nuclear bunker 30 Meters underground outside of London and with minimal terrorist threat. Personnel access to the servers is heavily controlled with stringent access criteria and our cabinets are behind fire safe doors.

Virtually, your servers are protected by a hardware firewall that filters out mailicous packets and DDOS attacks and is monitored by the Krystal team for performance, suspicious activity and security.
