Backups are done weekly AND monthly so we can choose when to restore the account for you. In the majority of instances, the client wants the most recent backup reinstated. In which case the backed up data will only ever be a maximum of between 6 and 7 days out of date.

For some clients, it is important to have more up-to-date backups. This is especially true for thin client application data or web sites in which the content is updated regularly such as a busy forum. Offsite data backup is widely regarded as a sensible move for disaster recovery purposes in businesses that have highly critical and sensitive information at the core of any business. Our datacentre, the ex MOD underground nuclear bunker, is already one of the most secure datacentres in the UK but should for whatever reason a natural disaster occur such that the servers are compromised, an offsite solution is a suitable contingency plan and can be used to restore services quickly.
