Krystal was founded in Torquay in 2001 with the aim to do hosting differently. We had experienced the levels of support and customer service of many different hosting companies, and decided we could do it better. So we did! 7 years on we continue with the same ethos that we started with, and our business is growing steadily. We now own our own network and all of our own hardware all based in the UK in an ultra secure datacentre outside of the M25. The future looks bright for Krystal, with our new custom website billing and management software in the pipeline - managing your hosting and domains will never have been easier!
Simon co-founded the company in 2001 in Torquay when he was 17. Simon is the technical architect that spends the majority of his time ensuring our infrastructure is looked after and developed. Out of the office, when Simon is not in the gym and exercising, he spends his time learning new pastimes. His recent new-found love of motorbikes and need for speed has meant the word "Ducati" is never far from his lips!
Tom and Simon met while at Exeter university studying Computer Science. Having provided technical support throughout the "university years", Tom joined as a full partner late in 2003. A talented coder, web designer and server technician, Tom is primarily resonsible for ensuring our servers are functioning correctly. He is exceptionally good at fixing things, which is one of the reasons why our support has been valued so highly!
Boris is our creative spark, and deals with anything design or graphic based. He specialises in Photoshop, CSS and XHTML
