Hardware
Our latest servers are running either Sun or Dell; Our Sun Microsystems servers feature the latest 2nd Generation Dual Core 64-bit AMD CPU's, while our Dell servers are running on the newest Quad Xeons. All of our servers have large pools of memory which is an important factor in serving a large ammount of webpages. We are also running RAID arrays using SAS drives to deliver files as fast as possible.
Connectivity
All of our servers have 100Mbps of contracted connectivity to the Internet. How fast? Why not see for yourself, try a Speed Test from this server.
This connection speed, coupled with the fact that our servers are located in the UK with direct connections into London and around the rest of the UK and Europe, means that neither you, nor anyone who visits your site, will ever have to wait; pages and files will be downloaded as fast as their connections can handle.
Network
We have spared no expense on any aspect of our setup, and the network is no exception, we use world class Cisco equipment that features an intelligent firewall, router and switch. This ensures the safety of the servers from outside attacks.
Software
All of our servers run Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4, the best supported, most secure and reliable Linux Operating System. Incredibly stable and with increased support for the Dual Core CPU's we our servers have exceptionally good uptime and security.
